I've had lessons with Toni Gray since I decided at age 28 to learn to ride horses. Toni was there for me every step of the way, from first giving me lessons on her own horses, to helping and supporting me through buying my first horse. When I first considered learning to ride, I never thought I could ride competitively, but with Toni's encouragement I entered my first show and from there I was hooked!

I now compete regularly at dressage, showjumping and eventing as well as attending the odd hunt. I now live in Gisborne, but Toni is still on my speed-dial and remains my first point of contact for guidance on equine training, fitness and nutrition.

Toni was a great help during my last competitive season on Murphy as we were preparing for the National 3DE. Toni was available for lessons either at her place or mine which was really helpful as I had limited time during the week. She provided clear concise advice on exactly what I should be focusing on between fences. This helped establish a good regular rhythm from which we were able to execute a good spot to jump from. She also helped build my confidence which is a critical aspect when jumping.

Toni is very approachable and I found it useful to have an open constructive dialogue throughout the lessons. Murphy and I had a very successful season finishing with a clear SJ at the Nationals. I can highly recommend Toni to anyone wanting jumping lessons.
